But history has proven that this prediction of the death of Christianity has been wildly inaccurate. On November 9, 1967, the nation of Albania claimed in <em>Nendori<\/em>, its literary monthly newspaper, that it was the &#8220;first atheist state in the world.&#8221; However, just forty-three years later, in Albania&#8217;s capital city of Tirana alone, more than 40 churches meet every Sunday morning. And new fellowships are being planted throughout the country each year. In Russia, a church now meets on Sunday mornings in Moscow&#8217;s Museum of Religion and Atheism, the former center of communist atheism.<\/p>\n<p>Albert Einstein once had a conversation about faith with a pastor. He said, &#8220;I respect religion, but I believe in mathematics. Probably it is the other way around with you.&#8221; &#8220;You are mistaken,&#8221; the pastor replied. &#8220;To me, both are merely different expressions of the same exactness.&#8221; &#8220;But what would you say if mathematical science should some day come to conclusions directly contrary to your religious faith?&#8221; Einstein asked. &#8220;Oh,&#8221; said the pastor, &#8220;I have the highest regard for the competency of mathematicians. I am sure they would never rest until they discovered their mistake.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Thank you, LORD, that You still reveal Yourself to any person who honestly seeks for You.
