Shields Locked

Just an update on what’s going on and what I am encountering along this path. But first of all I want to thank all of you, so many prayers and encouraging words and cards and notes; it is amazing. I feel like I have an entire army of soldiers with shields locked marching with me down this road. If you ever wondered whether your prayers have any impact, don’t wonder anymore. I feel like I’m being carried along and held in the arms of Jesus. Thank you thank you.

Monday morning I go back into surgery. In short, they found cancer in two of the lymph nodes they removed and they are going in to remove the rest of them from under my left arm. It’s just a one day surgery so I will be home Monday night. From there we make plans for further treatment with radiation and chemo. Imagine the surprise of the hospital staff if they could only see the army of prayer warriors that are marching into that place with me! Covid isn’t going to stop these warriors! No social distancing needed here! That hospital room and that surgical suite are going to be crowded! I hope they get a sense of God’s presence. I know I will be very aware of it.

I’m not sure what time the surgery is, most likely early because they want to release me the same day. I will let you know as soon as I find out. Again, thank you, thank you all. I have already had so many amazing opportunities to share the Lord And tell  of His faithfulness. He is faithful and I am a blessed woman
