Good morning! Update from yesterday’s surgery.
Everything went very well. I got an opportunity to pray over my surgeon, and this time I was awake as they wheeled me down the hall and into the surgery suite. It was very interesting.
I was right! That room was crowded! I had all kinds of prayer warriors in there with me in the Spirit, along with the doctors and the nurses and the anesthesiologist. I felt peaceful, to the point of being lighthearted. So lighthearted and chatty, in fact, that I think they finally put the oxygen mask on me and turned up the meds just to shut me up! Only God can do that.
The surgery went well and I was home within a few hours. I woke this morning after a good night’s rest feeling perfectly normal. No issues with the anesthesia, my arm feels strong, it feels sore of course, kind of like a pulled muscle but other than that I’m doing really well.
Thank you, thank you all for praying for me. What amazing people God has brought into my life. I am so very thankful for each and everyone of you.
