I went to sleep early last night. I woke up about one in the morning with thoughts of a dear friend on my mind, so I sent her a message and prayed for her. I couldn’t go back to sleep so I grabbed a towel and went outside and climbed into the jacuzzi.
What a night! It’s warm; spring is here; the night sky is beautiful. There are clouds floating around playing tag around the stars. The moon is out and has shed a gentle light on the landscape and the tops of the trees. I’m not alone out here. There are several bunnies happily cleaning up the food that I put out for them. My pony is standing close by watching me, soft nickers (hoping for a treat I suspect). There are great horned owls that live here. They are hooting to each other from across the property. I so love to hear them at night. The breeze gently rustles the leaves in the trees and is blowing soft cool air against my face. There is an incredible sense of peace. I have tiny jars of fairy lights that give the yard a magical quality. It is a spectacular night. It is because He is here with me. We share this moment together. His creation is meant to bring me joy and reflect His character. Oh, how I love Him. I am so thankful tonight.
