I was responding to a post by Yolanda Bean, my friend, this evening, and I was reminded of something that Jamie Owens Collins said a few years ago when she came and spoke to the women at the Packinghouse. She said that God is as interested in the process as He is in the outcome.
I was thinking about how I am partway through the chemo, but I still have two months of chemo left. And then five weeks of radiation, and then another surgery to remove another tumor. I am still deep in the process. There’s so much to learn, and I don’t want to miss all of the lessons in the process.
I think sometimes we, or at least I, anyway, get too focused on the end and forget to look for the blessings and the lessons that are there along the way in the process. All of us are looking for an end to 2020 and Covid and everything else has been happening in this crazy year that we have all been dealing with. I don’t want it all to have been bad. It wasn’t all bad. What did God teach me this year? What is the good, the life-changing lessons that I am taking away from this journey? There are so many. I see them even

The power of prayer! Oh my goodness! I have learned the power of prayer.
What have you learned?
