Good morning!
I thought I would update those of you who have been asking. I am three weeks out from my second surgery and healing and starting to get my energy level back, which is nice. My arm is feeling good. Thank you so much for all of your prayers.
At the moment, I am waiting for a test that will determine the program for chemo in the future. I also will be getting radiation as the two lymph nodes that were positive were under my arm. I will know within a week what the schedule is going to be for the chemo.
I am also going to have to undergo another biopsy for something that was found in the CT scan. They do not think that it is cancer, but they want to do the biopsy to make sure. I would appreciate any and all prayers in regards to that. I will know in a few days when that is scheduled.
Most importantly, I have felt your prayers. God has come rushing in like a flood and sustained me through all of this, including evacuation warnings. I feel so much peace surrounding me and I know it is a result of all who have been praying for me and lifting me up. I don’t think I can ever express to you, in this world anyway, how much I appreciate all the encouragement and the flowers and the cards and the gifts. You all have been wonderful. Food, I haven’t eaten this good in a long time!
